Tickets Available For City Lights Orchestra Sounds Of Season Concert

Admission is free, but tickets are required to see the City Lights Orchestra's Sounds of the Season concert, Dec. 17, at Most Holy Redeemer.

EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Tickets are now available for the Sounds of the Season Christmas Concert Church Sunday, Dec. 17, featuring the City Lights Orchestra and Vocalists. The concert begins at 7 p.m. at Most Holy Redeemer Church, 9525 W. 95th St., Evergreen Park.

The concert is free, but concertgoers must have a ticket to be admitted to the performance. Tickets are limited to four per person and are only available as long as supplies last. Pick up tickets at the Evergreen Park Recreation Department, 3450 W. 97th St., from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.

The Sounds of the Season Concert has evolved into a beloved holiday tradition for Evergreen Park families. Conducted by South Side native Rich Daniels, the renowned 16-piece City Lights Orchestra will be playing holiday classics as well as a few other surprises. Daniels' CLO has appeared with some of the greatest names in showbiz, including Ray Charles, Mel Torme, Burt Bacharach, Dionne Warwick, Dennis DeYoung, Diane Schuur, Dihann Carroll, the Four Tops, Smokey Robinson, The Manhattan Transfer, Frankie Laine and David Foster, to name a few. The classy and elegant City Lights Orchestra is also a popular fixture in the village's summer concert series.
