Time To Get Flaky Again Saturday At Evergreen Park 'Flake Fest' Offers Free Open Skating
Evergreen Park's winter fest offers an afternoon of free open skating Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Dan Capuano Ice Rink at Yukich Fields.
EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Unlike past “climate change” fests, it looks like there will be ice at Evergreen Park’s 2026 Flake Fest happening this Saturday, Feb. 7. Flake Fest runs from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Dan Capuano Ice Rink in Yukich Fields, 89th Street and Kedzie Avenue.
Residents are invited to come out for a free day of open skating. Skate rentals are $5 for youth under age 17 ($6 for non-residents) and $6 for adults ($7 non-residents).
Satisfy your appetite after an afternoon of gliding with some hot, delicious Mexican food at the Rojo Verde Antojitos Mexicanos food truck.
