Watch "Elf" Under The Stars This Thursday In 50-Acre Park

EVERGREEN PARK, IL—Don’t be a cotton-headed ninny muggins! Come celebrate Christmas in July this Thursday, July 25. The 2003 Christmas classic “Elf,” starring Will Ferrell, will be beamed on the big screen under the stars at 50-Acre Park, 91st Street and Rockwell Avenue, in Evergreen Park. The movie will start around 8:15 p.m. or when it gets properly dark.

You might want to get there a little early. We hear Santa Claus might be making a midsommar stop in all his summer finery. The weather looks to be ideal, so bring a blanket, sweatshirt, chair and snacks. Don’t forget the mosquito repellent.
