EVERGREEN PARK, IL—Congratulations to the Evergreen Park Baseball Club's 13U team for capturing the Babe Ruth State Championship. The 13’s battled LaGrange during last Saturday’s wretched heat at Evergreen Park Community High School, beating LaGrange 12-2. This is the fourth Babe Ruth state title won by this particular group of players, who’ve been tearing up the field since they were ten. Now it’s on to the regionals in Janesville, WI.
