When Do Evergreen Park Schools Start Spring Break?

Just a reminder to residents that Evergreen Park’s public and parochial school students will be starting spring break, which means there will be more kids on the street and in the parks.

Spring break coincides with the Easter holiday this year in Evergreen Park and many other nearby communities. Elementary School Dist. 124 and Evergreen Park High School, as well as parochial schools, will all be on spring break starting Friday, March 25 and continuing through April 1. Classes will resume April 4.

The area’s Catholic high schools -- St. Laurence, Queen of Peace, Marist, Brother Rice, Mother McAuley, St. Rita -- will also be on break during that time as well.

So give the kids a “brake” when you’re out and about during the next week.
