Winter Storm: Evergreen Park School Closings, Cancellations

EVERGREEN PARK, IL -- Looks like it’s shaping up to be a snow day Friday, Feb. 9. Up to 14 inches of snow is expected to blanket the Chicago region during the overnight hours of Thursday and well into Friday, with more snow expected over the weekend. In total, the area could see up to 20 inches of snow by Sunday. Patch will keep updating the closings, so check back throughout the evening to see if you or your kids have a day off from school and work on Friday.

The following Evergreen Park schools, institutions and businesses will be closed on Feb. 9:

Public Schools

Marist High School

Private Schools:

Park Lawn Community Day Services buildings (WS, ADT, Choice) will remain open for any families that choose to drop off their family members. Transportation will not be running. Tentative noon dismissal. Please call the school.

Colleges

Fox College

Moraine Valley Community College classes canceled Friday, Feb. 9. Fitness center open. Classes will be in session Saturday, Feb. 10.

Businesses/Institutions

All Evergreen Park Recreation Department activities and programs, including pre-school.

Little Company of Mary Urgent Care Station East, 5660 W. 95th St. Oak Lawn will be closed Friday. (For all urgent care needs, 6700 W. 95th St., Oak Lawn, open 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.)
