Weed Possession
Sean C. Simon, 24, of Bellwood, was charged with possession of cannabis and failure to wear a seatbelt after a traffic stop. Three other people in the car were charged with failure to wear seatbelts, but police also found 5-6 grams of marijuana on Simon, they said.

More Marijuana Arrests
Keith Knight, 43, of Broadview, was charged with cannabis possession following a traffic stop at 7500 Roosevelt Road. Police said his car smelled like weed and they recovered a baggie with cannabis in the center console and a small bag holding a joint. He was cited under a local ordinance violation.
Dominique C. Dye, 22, was charged with cannabis possession following a traffic stop for expired registration. Police said they found a small bag of 2 grams of marijuana in her jacket. She was given an April 23 court date.

Byron P. Clegg, 42, of Chicago, was stopped by police after he reportedly seemed suspicious for walking in different directions and closing his jacket when police saw him. Police said he had 2.5 grams of marijuana in his coat pocket, and he was cited under the local ordinance violation.
