Among all Chicago and suburban Metra stops, nearby River Forest ranked as the 16th highest income with an average income of $122,854 while Oak Park ranked as the 176th highest income at $51,574 and Maywood ranked as the 190th highest income at $44,979, according to Crain's. River Forest residents have the top 10 percent of the highest average incomes among Chicago towns with Metra stations, according to the map

The Metra station that ranked as number one was in Kennilworth where the average income came in at $242,188, according to Crain's
