• Oak Park residents' vehicles struck by fleeing driver in Forest Park police chase (oakpark.com) — A midday garage burglary on Circle Avenue in Forest Park led to a police pursuit that crossed into Oak Park, where three vehicles were struck and the suspect escaped. Forest Park police say the forcible felony justified the chase, but one hit driver described the experience as terrifying and questioned whether pursuing at high speed through narrow streets was worth the risk.
   

• Forest Parkers call for ICE-free zones, update to welcoming resolution (forestparkreview.com) — Forest Park residents are pressing village leaders to create ICE-free zones in key public buildings and strengthen the town's 2017 welcoming resolution.
