Get INFANT-styled in Forest park

Local rock group re-unites after 25 year break. Forest Park-based INFANTS to play homecoming show.

One a cool spring night in 1988 – local favorites INFANTS played Old Town West in Forest Park. No one in the room – or in the band for that matter – had any idea that this might be the last time they would play together.

The popular four-piece who billed themselves as “The Third Best Garage Band in the World” decided to take a break from playing together. Much to the chagrin of music lovers in Oak Park, Forest Park, Cicero, Berwyn, and Chicago – the boys decided they needed a short break from each other and from what they were doing.

That break lasted 25 years.
