Weed Possession
Major N. McCoy, 30, of Lyons, was charged with marijuana possession after police responded to a call about McCoy blocking access to the CTA Blue Line at 701 Harlem Ave. Police said they smelled cannabis and found McCoy in possession of about 1 gram.
Public Drinking
Job Maldonado, 46, of Forest Park, was issued a local ordinance for consuming and carrying open beer in a public place. Police said they have stopped Maldonado previously for drinking in public, so they watched him when they saw him leave a Shell gas station with a black plastic bag. Not long after, police said Maldonado began drinking a 24-ounce can of Milwaukee's Best Ice beer. He was given a June 5 court hearing.

Man Refuses to Leave H&R Block
Lonnie V. Crawford, 38, of Chicago, was charged with public indecency after police were called to H&R Block, 7316 Roosevelt Rd. in Forest Park. A receptionist at the business said Crawford asked to leave the bathroom, then made a masturbatory gesture without exposing himself. The woman demanded he leave three times after calling the police. He was given a June 5 court hearing.
Illegal Cigarette Seller
Jamal J. Allen, 35, of Hillside, was issued a local ordinance violation for disorderly conduct after police were told he was selling cigarettes outside of a concession store near the CTA Blue Line at 711 Des Plaines Ave.
Police said they located Allen on a CTA bus, and he denied selling cigarettes. Officers reminded him that he has been arrested on similar charges for selling cigarettes near other CTA stops.
Allen was carrying $8.44 in change and $12 in singles, which is "consistent with a subject that would be selling single cigarettes," police said. He was given a June 5 court hearing.
