Public Drunk Pulls Plants
Police were called to Hannah and Madison regarding a man tearing flowers from a village flower pot and throwing them on the ground.Alfredo Tovar, 22, of Forest Park, was charged with a village ordinance violation for public intoxication. Police said he was "highly intoxicated," and when questioned he said "I'm a f---ing idiot." He reportedly apologized about the plants.
Officers then saw Pablo Perdomo, 23, of Forest Park, drinking from a cup that said Bud Light, and he refused to sit down when commanded by police. He was charged with obstructing justice and open alcohol.
MONDAY, JUNE 17
Crack Pipe
James Doran, 56, of Forest Park, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug equipment.Police said he moved around frantically in the car when seeing officers, so they conducted an interview because of the drug use and sales in the apartment complex in the 8000 block of Roosevelt Rd.
Officers spotted a crack pipe on the passenger's side floor and said Doran possessed 2.3 grams of crack cocaine. He was given a July 18 court date.
