SUNDAY, AUGUST 4
Public Urination Arrest
Police charged Karthic Chandran, 22, of Vernon Hills, with public urination after police found him urinating on the side of a building at the intersection of Madison Street and Constitution Court around 3 a.m. He was given a local ordinance citation and a Sept. 4 court date and released.Like Forest Park Patch on Facebook
Quarters Stolen From Car
Someone stole $3 in quarters from a car in the 7200 block of Adams Street between 11 p.m. Aug. 3 and 6:15 a.m. Aug. 4.Solar Lights Stolen
Someone stole two solar lights, worth $10, from a yard in the 1000 block of Circle Avenue between midnight and 3:30 a.m.GPS Stolen
Someone stole a GPS unit, worth $150, from a car in the 7200 block of Adams Street between 9 p.m. Aug. 3 and 6:15 a.m. Aug. 4.SATURDAY, AUGUST 3
Warrant: Disorderly Conduct
Police charged Lamar Hunt, 56, of Chicago with a warrant for disorderly conduct around 1:40 p.m. He was processed and given a Sept. 3 court date.Battery Arrest
Brian McMahon, 22, of Champaign, was arrested for battery after he punched a bouncer in the face around 1:50 a.m. An employee of a bar in the 7400 block of Madison Street told police he was working the door that night, and that McMahon kept trying to sneak back into the bar after getting kicked out twice. The third time he tried to sneak in, he punched the employee in the face when he tried to block him from entering.He was processed on one count of battery and one count of trespassing and held on bond.
FRIDAY, AUGUST 2
Warrant: Failure to Appear
Police charged Lance Pierre, 23, of Forest Park with a warrant out of Chicago for failure to appear and driving a motorcycle without lights around midnight in the 800 block of Circle Avenue. He was processed and transported to Chicago.Retail Theft Arrest
Verlean Ford, 62, of Chicago, was arrested for retail theft after she reportedly stole a bottle of Zyrtec and eye drops from K-Mart, 7630 Roosevelt Rd., around 11:50 a.m. She was given a local ordinance citation, a Sept. 4 court date and released.Theft Attempt
A man and a woman were seen trying to take a boot off of a Ford Taurus in the 400 block of Marengo Avenue around 1:45 p.m.Man Arrested for Selling Gift Cards in Parking Lot
Police arrested Robert Anderson, 32, of Oak Park, for selling gift cards without a business permit in a Dunkin' Donuts parking lot around 6 p.m. Two witnesses told police they found out about him through the internet, and that he sells gift cards for less than the full amount. He was also processed on a warrant out of Sangamon County and released on bond.Warrant: Marijuana Possession
Jonathan Ruiz, 27, of Forest Park, was arrested on a warrant out of DuPage County for marijuana possession in the 7400 block of Circle Avenue around 11 p.m. He was processed and held on bond.THURSDAY, AUGUST 1
Cab Driver Arrested
Mohammed Damra, 28-year-old cab driver from Hickory Hills was given local ordinance citations around 11 a.m. for parking across two handicapped spots in the 7200 block of Circle Avenue, driving without proof of insurance or a valid taxicab driver's license. He was given a Sept. 4 court date.Illegal Weapon Use
Police charged Randall Dotson, 37, of Chicago with illegal weapon use during a traffic stop around 1:50 p.m. near the intersection of Wisconsin and Garfield avenues in Oak Park. During a search of the car, police found a .32-caliber handgun, which Dotson said he carries for protection. He was processed, given an Aug. 8 court date and held on bond.Loud Music Citation
Police issued a local ordinance citation for loud music to Manuel Favela, 24, of Cicero, around 6:15 p.m. in the 1800 block of Harlem Avenue. He was given a Sept. 4 court date and released from the scene.See also:
