Forest Park Bartender Arrested on After-Hours Charge

SUNDAY, AUGUST 25

Bike Stolen 

Someone stole a bike from outside Happy Chef restaurant, 1215 Harlem Ave., while a customer was picking up his foot about 3:15 p.m.

T-shirt Stealer Arrested 

Police charged Zane Wilbourn, 51, of Forest Park, with retail theft after he stole four or five Hawaiian t-shirts worth about $80 from a store in the 7500 block of Madison Street about 3:30 p.m. He was processed on a felony retail theft charge, given an Aug. 29 court date and held on bond.

Man Arrested for Stealing Icehouse, Absolut from CVS 

Police charged Wylie Jones, 46, of Joliet, with retail theft at CVS about 8:10 a.m. A store employee told police he saw Jones kneeling in front of the shelves in the liquor department and putting Icehouse beer and two bottles of Absolut vodka in his bag, police said. When the employee confronted Jones, Jones ran from the scene, police said. He was arrested at the CTA Green Line Station, processed on one count of retail theft and held on bond.

Bartender Arrested for Serving After Closing Time 

Haley Thomas, 26, of Forest Park, was cited for serving alcohol after hours at Pioneer Tap. Police said Pioneer Tap, 7445 Randolph St., has had several warnings about not closing on time, and cited Thomas, the bartender, for admitting people after closing time about 3:05 a.m. She was given an Oct. 2 court date.

Warrant: Trespassing 

Police charged Lawrence Strother, 54, of Broadview, with a warrant out of North Riverside for trespassing about 7:30 a.m. in the 600 block of Harlem Avenue.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 24

Suspended License Arrests

• Police charged Irene Thomas, 29, of Richton Park, with driving on a suspended license and without insurance during a traffic stop about 8 p.m. in the 700 block of Harlem Avenue. She was given an Oct. 8 court date and released.
• Police charged Evan Vondrasek, 22, of Oak Park, with driving on a suspended license and without tail lights during a traffic stop near the intersection of Marengo and Lexington about 9:40 p.m. She was given an Oct. 8 court date and released.
