Forest Park Coffee House Sponsors Clothing Drive

Next time you bring yourself into Blue Max Coffee for a bit of refueling, consider taking along a piece of new or gently-used clothing to keep a needy person warm. 

The area's popular coffee house, located at 26 Lathrop Ave. in Forest Park, is sponsoring a drive for new and gently-used articles over the next two weeks.

Adult clothing, including warm coats and sweaters size large or bigger, socks and boots, will go to the Emergency Closet at Calvary Memorial Church, 931 Lake St., Oak Park.

Children's clothing, including warm outerware, backpacks, winter boots, hats, scarves and gloves will go to the Kids Closet at First United Church of Oak Park, 848 Lake St., Oak Park.
