Heroin, Pills Found on Women in Car With Child: Police Blotter

Forest Park police reports, March 1.

Two women were charged with possession of heroin and child endangerment after police investigated a car covering three parking spaces March 1 in Forest Park.

Vanessa M. Lulling, 26, of Elk Grove Village, and Constance M. Miller, 31, of Melrose Park, were charged with possession of drug equipment, possession of a controlled substance and endangering the life of a child.

Police saw a car covering three parking spots at Thornton's gas station, 601 Harlem Ave., and stopped to investigate. When the officer approached the car, Miller was seen turning toward the center console and concealing an item between the seat. The driver, Lulling, was also seen putting something underneath herself.

A 7-year-old was unbuckled in the back of the car. Police asked Miller to leave the car and she said she had a crack pipe. The officer saw several ziploc bags with heroin in them between the passenger seat and the center console.

When Lulling exited the car, police saw drug paraphernalia in the driver's side door. Lulling also dropped a pill bottle containing nine pills of clonazepam, which treats anxiety. Police searched Lulling and found a pipe with burnt marijuana in it, as well as other pills.
