You're invited: A community anniversary celebration on Oct. 5: This October, Oak Park Public Library celebrates two major milestones: 10 years in the award-winning Main Library building and 110 years as a public library in Oak Park. We invite you to join us in celebrating with a day of events at all library locations and an after-hours party at the Main Library on Saturday, Oct. 5. 

Insurance company opens doors on Berwyn’s Cermak Road with mission to help the immigrant community: Xpress Insurance located at 2144 S Clarence Ave in Berwyn held a grand opening in partnership with the Berwyn Development Corporation (BDC) on September 4. This new insurance company aims to educated clients about their insurance needs while providing them with tailor made policies for Auto, Home, and Commercial insurance.

City of Homes aims to put Berwyn on the National Register: City of Homes Organization, Inc. (CoHo) will be kicking off its campaign to fund the nomination of the “Heart of Berwyn Neighborhood” to the National Register of Historic Places with an event on Saturday, October 5.
