On Wednesday, November 1st, Ronald McDonald came to Lincoln Elementary School in Bellwood for McLiteracy Night

On Wednesday, November 1st, Ronald McDonald came to Lincoln Elementary School in Bellwood for McLiteracy Night. The event promotes Reading, Respect for Books, sharing and caring for your books in a fun and interactive way for the children. Ronald McDonald took the kids on an adventure through magic, games, and stories. Ronald talked to the children about how to treat a book and the things you should do and the things you should not do when caring for a book. Ronald had Camari Johnson help him with his “Magic Coloring Book”. Then, he had all the kids join him in an exciting game of “Ronald Says”. He also Read the Story “Where the Wild Things Are” and had all the children help him imitate each character in the book. Lastly, Ronald, had Amia Rodriquez help him with his “Magic Hat” trick that left everyone wondering how he did that, the answer, magic of course!
