Lincoln and Grant Primary Schools in District 88 held their annual McTeacher's Night on Wednesday, November 29 at the Bellwood McDonald's on 25th Ave.
A McTeacher's Night is organized to help raise money for local schools by having teachers and staff work at McDonald's and then giving a percentage of the night's sales back to the local school.
On November 29, the restaurant was taken over by teachers and staff members from the Primary Schools excited to serve freshly prepared meals to students and their families to raise money for the schools.

There were 12 teachers and staff members who worked from the schools including Principal Stamps who volunteered most of the night. McTeacher’s Jobs included greeting guests, working the front counter, serving drinks, and bringing the orders to the tables.
A special thank you goes to Lincoln Primary reading specialist Michelle Owens who organized the event. Lincoln and Grant Primary Schools teachers and staff worked hard and with excitement, while the families enjoyed a spectacular evening.

The Schools plan to use the money raised for their general fund for items needed for the school.
