Madison Park Kitchen Opens in Forest Park

Since Thyme and Honey closed a couple of months ago, a couple of signs let passersby guess what was coming next. They read "Closed for remodeling" and "New management," but now the new restaurant has a new sign: "Open." 

Madison Park Kitchen opened Aug. 8 at the old Thyme and Honey location, 7525 W. Madison St. in Forest Park. 

Owners Margo and Niko Doulas opened the new restaurant, which is open daily from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. for breakfast and lunch. 

The breakfast menu features staples like omelets, benedicts, skillets and more.  For lunch, they offer salads, sandwiches and more, including the MPK burger (bacon, fried egg, cheddar and monterey jack).
