Police said two men attacked the man but fled after the man continued to yell.

Man Attacked With Gun 

A man was attacked in the 100 block of Marengo Ave. at about 5:12 p.m. Saturday, April 6, police said.

He told police that two men said "hello" to him in the alley near his garage, and moments later they came behind him and displayed a semi-automatic hand gun and pointed it at his head, forcing him in the garage.

The man began to resist and yell, and one of the offenders hit him with the gun in the back of the head. He continued to yell, at which point the men ran from the garage. 

Police searched the area but weren't able to find anyone right away.

The victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries, which he suffered when he was hit with the gun.
