
A woman called Forest Park police at 4:50 a.m. May 11 and said her boyfriend was pointing a gun at her.
William R. Rubio, 37, of Forest Park, was charged with aggravated assault. The woman said she and her boyfriend were arguing and he left with a case of beer.
He returned home later and became angry with her again, this time pointing the gun at her, police reported. When a bullet fell to the ground and he went to pick it up, the woman ran from the room. Rubio then went to the parking lot and left the scene.

Police found him and later recovered the gun in the apartment. He was charged and given a May 15 court date.
