Parking Restrictions Lifted in Forest Park during Holiday Season

Forest Park will lift its overnight parking ban until Jan. 1.

Folks will need to call the overnight parking line, 366-7272 after 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013 to get an on-street parking permit as the ban goes back into effect at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013.

If two inches of snow falls however, parking restrictions on snow routes will be in effect.

Also free parking will continue along Madison Street and Roosevelt Road through Jan. 2 is free.

So that means when folks want to shop or dine they won't need to bring extra change with them.
