On Saturday, Sept. 28th, Carrie Powers of Oak Park and four of her friends came to the McAdam Nursery & Garden Center in Forest Park for a potting party.
Powers won the experience at the Staszak Benefit in April, during a silent auction held by the Oak Park Education Foundation.
The ladies enjoyed wine & cheese, and flexed their creative muscle as they selected pots and filled them with flowers and plants to take home.
