Roosevelt Middle School in Bellwood Holds Annual Fundraiser
Roosevelt Middle School from District 88 in Bellwood held their annual McTeacher's Night at the Bellwood McDonald's on 25th Ave.
Roosevelt Middle School from District 88 in Bellwood held their annual McTeacher's Night at the Bellwood McDonald's on 25th Ave. on Wednesday, January 24th. A McTeacher's Night is organized to help raise money for local schools by having teachers work at McDonald's and then giving a percentage of the night's sales to the local school.
On Wednesday the restaurant was taken over by teachers excited to serve freshly prepared meals to students and their families to raise money for Roosevelt Middle School. The students and families were excited to see their teachers and principal behind the counter and throughout the restaurant.
Twenty teachers and staff members worked from the middle school. The McTeacher's jobs included greeting guests, cleaning the lobby, working the front counter, serving drinks, clearing tables, and serving ice cream cones--all duties which were executed with great enthusiasm.
