Seminar on Concussions Offered at Park District
Program to provide ways for people working with youth to keep them safe.

Getting knocked around is almost a right of passage for any boy or girl engaged in football, soccer or hockey.
But in recent months, organizations connected with sports - from Pop Warner Football and the American Youth Soccer Organization to the Illinois High School Assn. and others have begun to more closely examine the long range effects that a sudden blow to the head can have, especially on the young.
A program sponsored by the Park District of Forest Park will present information on concussions and other brain injuries from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Sept. 5, at the headquarters, 7501 W. Harrison St.
