Local Ordinance - Open Liquor
Justine A. Braggs, 24, of Westchester was cited under village ordinance for having open liquor, police said. The arrest took place in the 400 block of Ferdinand Avenue.
Retail Theft
Marcus McGee, 32, of Chicago was charged with retail theft after he concealed five cans beer in his jacket and tried to leave CVS Pharmacy, 7216 Circle Ave., police said.

Burglary from Auto
A stereo valued at $300 was taken out of a 1989 Cadillac parked in the 0-100 block of Bergman Court. The owner told police he must have forgotten to set the car alarm and lock the doors when he arrived home the previous night.

Local Ordinance - Retail Theft
Edgaro Dones-Colon, 39, of Chicago was cited under a local ordinance with retail theft after stashing four cans of body spray in his jacket and trying to take them out of CVS Pharmacy, 7216 Circle Ave., police said. During the routine search at the station, police discovered Dones-Colon had numerous open bleeding sores all over his body as well as dried blood on his jacket. A biohazard removal company came in and disinfected the cell and car, police said. That procedure is routine when blood or bodily fluids is found, police said.
Local Ordinance - Retail Theft
Patricia A. Piotrowski, 48, of Berwyn, was cited under a local ordinance with retail theft after she concealed food, hairspray and pants in her purse and leave Walmart, 1300 Des Plaines Ave., without paying for them, police said. The items were valued at $35.95.

Retail Theft
Two women from Chicago were each charged with one count of misdemeanor retail theft for putting gift cards in their purses and attempting to leave Walmart, 1300 Des Plaines Ave., police said. Police said Tanquita M. Morton, 20, had taken 34 cards, each valued at $3 and Denika A. Lee, 24 had shoplifted 47 cards, each valued at $3. The total loss was $246.
