Summer Nights on Madison Street Deals (Aug. 8)

The hottest new event of the summer in Forest Park is—where else?—on Madison Street. 

While Oak Park has its Thursday Night Out promotion, local businesses in Forest Park are offering a similar setup with "Summer Nights on Madison." The event, designed to promote local shopping and dining with special deals, debuted July 11 and will run every Thursday night through August. 

When I stopped in businesses last week for Forest Park Patch, this new event was all the rage. It was almost the only thing people wanted to talk about, because they were excited to share their deals.

There are 45 local restaurants and shops participating, and each will offer something fun on Thursday nights this summer. (To check out some of the latest deals being offered each week, go to the Summer Nights on Madison Facebook page.)

Bertuca Salon & Spa: 1/2 off a wash and blow dry and 1/2 off manicures. 

Happy Feet: One-hour foot massage, including neck, arms, hands and back for just $35.

Tapas 7232: All the fixins for Bloody Marys, and a free flan dessert with $20 purchase. 

Caffe de Luca: $6 martinis all night. 

Skrine Chops: Pork tenderloin sandwich with a side of bacon mac & cheese for $8.

Camille at Famille: 20 percent off all new arrivals from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Jeanine Guncheon's Etcetera: 15 percent off all Archipelago items from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
