3 More Car Break-ins Hit Forest Park
The incidents were located near each other and close to the site of others earlier in the month.

Three more late last month, making that seven in the same vicinity in about two weeks.
All of the incidents took place between Aug. 29 and Aug. 31 and were reported to police on Aug. 31:
- Nothing was taken during the ransacking of a 1998 Dodge parked in the 600 block of Circle Avenue. It is uncertain if anything was taken during the incident.
- An nonfunctional cell phone and $3 in change were taken from the ashtray and a DVD player and movies were taken from the trunk of a 1999 Ford Taurus parked in the 500 block of Circle Avenue. There were no signs of forced entry to the car. Total loss was estimated at $90.
- A stereo/DVD player and other car stereo equipment were stolen from the inside and papers were taken from the glove box of a 1996 Chevrolet parked in the 7200 block of Adams Street. Entry was gained by pulling the front driver's side door lock.
Efforts to reach police were unsuccessful on whether these break-ins were related to ones that were reported on .
