Banda was arrested in North Riverside on Wednesday while on his way to pick up proceeds from his prostitution enterprise, Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart said in a news advisory.
The Lyons man came to authorities’ attention earlier this month, when officers learned that Banda was arranging prostitution for financial gain in the western suburbs, according to the charges.
