West Suburban PADS Seeks Candidates for Board of Directors

Dear PADS Supporter,

West Suburban PADS Nominating and Governance Committee is seeking candidates for the Board of Directors to serve for the 2015-2017 term. Specifically, we seek candidates who are interested in the work of homeless services and prevention, and who understand the important role of the Board in sustaining nonprofit organizations. In particular, we seek nominees with expertise in the areas of

· healthcare financing

· marketing & communications

· fundraising

· or who have broad connections within West Suburban PADS 20-community service area.

West Suburban PADS is committed to having a board that reflects the diverse parts of its service area. Race and ethnicity are among the components of the diversity we seek.

We appreciate your thoughtful consideration of nominees. Nominees will be asked to complete an informational packet and speak with a member of the Nominating Committee. Several slots are available to fill, however we may not be able to invite all nominees to the board. All nominees are, however, shared with PADS leadership and kept on file for future board or volunteer opportunities.
