The project should be finished in September.
FRANKFORT, IL — Repairs on La Grange Road over Hickory Creek in Frankfort have started, the Illinois Department of Transportation shared in a news release.
To complete the work, LaGrange Road will be reduced to one lane in each direction over the bridge, which crosses Hickory Creek. There will also be various lane shifts on both sides of LaGrange Road approaching the bridge throughout the project, IDOT said.
The $1.4 million project, which includes repairing the bridge deck, replacing expansion joints and installing a new deck overlay, should be completed in September, a news release shares.
