1 D161 School Rated 'Exemplary,' 5 Schools 'Commendable' By ISBE
Board member Stacey Borgens was also recognized by the Illinois Association of School Boards for maintaining her Master Board Member status.
FRANKFORT, IL — The Illinois State Board of Education has released its Report Card metrics for 2020. However, the suspension of in-person instruction during the 2019-20 school year affected multiple metrics which is why summative designations earned last year were used again this school year, according to a release from D161.
Designations include Frankfort Square School as exemplary and Rogus, Arbury Hills, Indian Trail, Walker, and SHJH as commendable.

The district said School Board Vice President Stacey Borgens was also recognized by the Illinois Association of School Boards for maintaining her Master Board Member status. To attain this honor, Borgens has not only accrued the required 200 points that IASB assigns to various conferences and assemblies, she also has earned an additional 40 points this year which qualifies her for this prestigious honor.
