2 Candidates File So Far For Frankfort Library Trustee Election

There are two 4-year trustee positions up for election in the April 4 election.

FRANKFORT, IL — So far, two candidates have filed petitions to run for the Frankfort Public Library Board of Trustees in the consolidated election next year.

Filing is still open on Friday until 5 p.m., and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Dec. 19.

There are two 4-year trustee positions up for election in the April 4 election.

Library Director Amanda Kowalcze told Patch that two candidates have filed so far (as of Friday morning). The candidates are Jan Look and Katherine Foulk Veach.

Look currently serves on the Board of Trustees as president.
