The Village has been managed to be successful in both good economic times and bad. Conservative fiscal prudence has positioned Frankfort well from a financial standpoint. We must continue this disciplined approach.

Why are you seeking office?
Frankfort is made up of citizens who care for their community. It is an honor to serve Frankfort.
What sets you apart from the other candidates?
Each member of the current Village Board has a different background, which gives us a diverse resource on which to draw. My professional experience as an employee of a major corporation is my unique perspective on the Board. It enables me to contemplate Frankfort in a broader sense when considering trends not just within Frankfort, but those beyond our borders.
In you opinion, what are the primary challenges facing the village?
1) Financial Prudence
2) Water quality
3) Maintenance of a feel of community
How will you address those challenges?
1) I will continue to invoke fiscal conservatism by balancing budgets and replenishing our capital fund.
2) We should continue our rust removal program, assure that the overall system has adequate capacity, and evaluate alternatives to address water hardness.
3) We must support our downtown, as it is one of the trademarks of our village by sponsoring a vast array of public events and supporting our local merchants both downtown and throughout the village.
If elected, what will be your philosophy as a member of the village board?
As a member of the Village Board, I see my responsibility to set vision and direction for the village administration which enables them to manage the village effectively on a day-to-day basis. I will support continuation of the many programs and policies that are working within the Village while encouraging development of new ones and retooling those that need attention.
