2nd Graders Make 'Selfies' To Tell Classmates About Themselves

Students at Indian Trail School in Frankfort began the year on a unique note.

FRANKFORT, IL -- Second grade students at Indian Trail School in Frankfort began the 2017-18 school year by telling their classmates about themselves and learning about one another.

The information was shared by "All About Me" essays, "Selfies" and photos of themselves and their families, Secretary Kathleen Pirkle said. Students also interviewed one another to learn about their interests, activities and families.

"What a great way to get to know one another and start the year off on a great note," Pirkle said.
