Adult Welding Classes Offered At Lincoln-Way East
There will be four classes to choose from, an introduction class and an advanced class.
FRANKFORT, IL — Lincoln-Way District 210 will once again host its adult welding classes this fall and winter, the District said.
There will be four classes to choose from, an introduction class and an advanced class. The "Introduction to Welding Processes" is limited to eight people for five weeks of evening classes.
Classes will meet from 6 to 9 p.m., and there are two sessions offered, according to the district. The first session is on Tuesdays, Nov. 14, 28, Dec. 5, 12, and 19; and the second session is Thursdays, Nov. 16, 30, Dec. 7, 14 and 21.

The "Advanced Welding Performance" classes, which is limited to eight people per class, will also have two sessions, and classes run from 6 to 9 p.m. for four weeks in the evenings, according to the district. Classes are Tuesdays Jan. 16, 23, 30 and Feb. 6; or Thursdays Jan. 11, 18, 25 and Feb. 1.

All classes meet at Lincoln-Way East High School in Frankfort.
Gast has taught welding at Lincoln-Way for over 20 years, the District said. An American Welding Society Certified Weld Inspector, Certified Welder, and Certified Weld Instructor, JJC Dual Credit and former JJC Adjunct College Welding instructor, Gast loves sharing his passion for welding with others.
