Aerial Video Of Frankfort Shared By New Store In Town

"The Storehouse," an occasional shop set to open Friday at the bottom of the Grainery tower, has already made a great first impression.

FRANKFORT, IL -- A unique shop that will open this weekend in one of Frankfort's most iconic structures is already becoming a favorite in town. "The Storehouse," which will hold its grand opening at the bottom level of the Grainery tower in Frankfort from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, shared a fun video on Facebook that shows many of the most popular spots in Frankfort on a foggy day from the air.

Set to a relaxing background music, the video (one that's been viewed more than 34,000 times on Facebook) shows downtown Frankfort, business districts and the Old Plank Road trail among other spots. It takes us on a journey of the village from the sky's point of view.

The popular video comes just before the opening of a brick-and-mortar store that will be unique in at least two ways.

First, owners are referring to The Storehouse as an "occasional shop" since it will only be open for two three-day weekends per month at first. Second, the layout and theme of the store will be different every time it opens.

"We feature the work of various brands and 'makers' featuring new brands each time we're open," a Facebook admin for The Storehouse wrote. "It'll never be the same shop twice!"
