Frankfort's Commissioners Park Splash Park Opens May 26

FRANKFORT, IL — Summer is just a few short weeks away, and that means community pools and splash pads are opening soon.

In Frankfort, the splash park at Commissioners Park is opening May 26. Hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Admission is $2 per resident, $4 for nonresidents, and kids 1 and under are free.

Private rentals are available, according to the park district. The splash park will close if temperatures fall below 72 degrees, or if there is threatening weather and/or lightning.
