FRANKFORT, IL — At its Monday meeting, the Frankfort Village Board approved a three-year renewal of the intergovernmental agreement with Will County for license plate reading cameras on county highways.
Trustee Maura Rigoni said the Board reviewed the agreement at its May 4 Committee of the Whole meeting.
"The agreement pertains to three existing Flock license plate reading cameras located along Laraway Road under County jurisdiction," Rigoni said. "The cameras have proven valuable in supporting criminal investigations and enhancing public safety efforts."
The agreement now remains subject to approval by Will County.
