• IEA: 'No hay lugar para el racismo/IEA: 'There is no place for racism (eldianews.net) — From Frankfort the state's largest teachers union is condemning racist harassment reportedly directed at Homewood-Flossmoor High School students during a football game against Lincoln-Way East. The Illinois Education Association and local unions say schools must impose meaningful consequences and ensure every student can attend classes and events feeling safe, respected, and free from racial intimidation.
