Today Montessori of Frankfort celebrated Rosh Hashanah with a student Mara Franklin and her mom and grandma. We got to learn many things, including apples and honey are provided on this holiday to bring in a sweet new year and the shofar(rams horn) is a horn that's blown to let everyone to gather at the synagogue. We enjoyed two books that Mara's mom read to teach all about the special holiday.
