Cedarhurst Of Frankfort Opens Independent Living Cottages

FRANKFORT, IL – Cedarhurst Senior Living has announced the completion of its 32 new independent living cottages at Cedarhurst of Frankfort.

The facility said the major expansion began in spring 2025, and all 32 cottages are now open. Cedarhurst also offers assisted living and memory care options.

Cottage residents have access to several amentities, including a dedicated clubhouse which offers a daily continental breakfast and weekly three-course menu, the facility said. There is also a putting green, gym, bocce court and shuffleboard court.

"Today's older adults want choices that allow them to continue living life on their terms, and these cottages expand the living options we're able to offer to meet those needs," said Almir Sajtovic, President of Cedarhurst Senior Living. "Our goal is to create an environment where residents can spend less time worrying about home maintenance and more time enjoying the people, experiences and opportunities that are meaningful to them."
