FRANKFORT, IL — Gather for an evening of Halloween fun with Ghost Stories on the Green on Oct. 23 at Breidert Green in downtown Frankfort.
Hosted by the Village of Frankfort and the Frankfort Public Library, the free event will begin at 6 p.m. with not-so-spooky ghost stories, followed by a family-friendly Halloween magic show from Edd Fairman.
"Ghost Stories on the Green is a great way for families and friends to come together and enjoy the Halloween season," Mayor Keith Ogle said in a news release. "With ghost stories, magic, costumes and popcorn, it's sure to be a fun night for everyone."
Free popcorn will also be served, and guests can come in their Halloween costumes. No chairs are needed, straw bale seating is provided, the Village said.
