• Frankfort Sets 2026 Trick-Or-Treating Hours (patch.com) — Families in Frankfort can start planning Halloween now, with the village recommending trick-or-treating hours from 3 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31. Earlier that day, kids can enjoy the Frankfort Police Department's annual Safety Trunk or Treat and E.F. Bucko costume parade at the Breidert Green parking lot.
   

• New Jamaican Jerk Restaurant Moves Forward In Frankfort (patch.com) — Frankfort residents can look forward to Jamaican Jerk Choice opening in Hickory Creek Market Place after the Village Board approved a special use permit. The carry-out spot, owned by Frankfort resident Paul Green, will serve jerk chicken, curry dishes, and traditional Jamaican sides, adding new international flavor to the local dining scene.
