Budget Blinds CEO Chad Hallock to Appear on Undercover Boss

CBS’s hit show featuring Chad
Hallock set to air April 13 at 8/7c

Frankfort, IL, April 11, 2012Each
week, Undercover
Boss
, CBS’s popular reality TV show, follows a different executive
as they leave the comfort of their corner office to examine the inner workings
of their companies in a roll-up-your-sleeves environment. On April 13, Chad Hallock, CEO of Budget Blinds,
steps up to the plate in what is sure to be an entertaining and enlightening
experience. The episode will feature Chad trading in his suit for a Budget
Blinds polo shirt as he works hands on in the window covering manufacturing
process and then goes door to door, taking part in customer consultations and
product installations.

In 1992, Chad
co-founded Budget Blinds with his brother and three close friends with no more
than a smile on his face and $5000 in his pocket. Today, the company has grown
to become the largest window coverings franchise in North
America. Budget Blinds now finds itself invaluably positioned in a
multi-billion dollar industry that is expected to grow by 6% in the coming
years. From blinds
to shutters,
drapes to shades, Budget Blinds is a one-stop source for a homeowner’s window
covering needs. The company celebrates its 20th anniversary this
year so the timing couldn’t be better to commemorate this achievement by
participating in Undercover Boss!

Although Chad
began on the front lines, his years behind the desk are sure to make an impact
on his performance on the show. “When I was approached with the opportunity, I
took it without hesitation,” Chad
said. “To be able to work with the franchisees that have made this company a
success was something I could not pass up - even though I haven’t taken part in
an in-home consultation or installed a blind in quite some time!”

individual franchises, it’s a great opportunity for the company as a whole,” said
Susan Gomez of Budget Blinds of Frankfort.
“Being on Undercover Boss will give Chad valuable insight into
franchisee day to day operations that he is sure to incorporate into all future
communications and initiatives.” Susan added.
