Animal Hospital Moving Into Alsip Home & Nursery

The Frankfort Village Board cleared the way for a veterinary clinic to lease space from Alsip Home & Nursery.

"Dr. John Coyne of Coyne Veterinary Services proposes to operate a veterinary clinic for dogs, cats and small animals in an 1,100 sq. ft. existing tenant space at Alsip Nursery," reads a report from the board's plan commission.

The board voted to grant a special use permit to enable to clinic to set up shop.

The clinic will only perform minor surgeries, the report said, and there will be no exterior kennels or dog runs.
