Armed Suspects Taken Into Custody After Car Chase: Frankfort Cops
The two men were pursued into Harvey, where they were taken into custody with the assistance of other law enforcement agencies.
FRANKFORT, IL — Two men were taken into custody after they entered a Frankfort cell phone store Friday afternoon armed with handguns, police said.
The incident happened at 1:40 p.m. in the 20200 block of South La Grange Road. Frankfort police officers responded to the scene and pursued the two men as they fled in a car, police said. The men were pursued into Harvey, where they were taken into custody with the assistance of other law enforcement agencies.
Police said the investigation remains active and more information will be released when it is available.
