ArtWorks 2026 Festival Returns To Lincoln-Way East On Saturday
The public is invited to listen to student musical groups, view exhibits and demonstrations, and participate in hands-on workshops.
FRANKFORT, IL — ArtWorks 2026 Festival will bring workshops, student performances, professional artist demonstrations, and a student art exhibit to Lincoln-Way East on Saturday.
Festivities will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the school on Saturday. The event is open to all ages, and admission is free.
The District said the public is invited to listen to student musical groups, view exhibits and demonstrations, and participate in hands-on workshops.

Workshops include:
- 10:30 a.m. — Pinch Pots in Clay
- 10:30 a.m. — String Painting
- 11 a.m. — Scratch Art
- 11:30 a.m. — Collage Activity
- 12 p.m. — Oil Pastel Smudge Landscapes
- 12 p.m. — Chalk Pastel Galaxy Art
- 1 p.m. — Glow Pastel Drawing
- 1:30 p.m. — Printmaking
- 1:30 p.m. — Jewelry Copper Enameling

- 10:45 a.m. — Lincoln-Way Youth Strings Orchestra
- 11:15 a.m. — L‑Way Youth Strings Chamber Ensemble
- 1 p.m. — L‑Way East Spring Play
- 1:15 p.m. — L‑Way East Guitar Students
Professional artists John Tylk and Ted Fuka will provide demonstrations, according to the District. Also, a student art exhibit featuring over 1,000 pieces of student artwork will be on display from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the cafeteria.
