Auditions for Steel Magnolias at Curtain Call Theatre on Front Street
Auditions will be held on Sunday, January 8th at 6 pm or Monday, January 9th at 7 pm for the heartwarming Steel Magnolias.
Curtain Call Theatre is proud to announce auditions for its March production of Steel Magnolias.
Steel Magnolias is the story of female friendships wrapped in southern humor. This emotional story follows the lives of six indomitable Southern women as they share their personal triumphs, tragedies, beauty tips, recipes, and more than the occasional piece of scandalous gossip in Truvys beauty shop in Chinquapin, Louisiana. Steel Magnolias was written by Robert Harling shortly after the death of his sister Susan from diabetes. The Broadway show first debuted in 1987 and was made into a feature film in 1989.
